Sales Manager

We support our North American and Caribbean clients from our locations in Toronto, Calgary, and US.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Sales Development**:
- Generate new business by identifying prospective clients and networking within the solar industry.
- Qualify leads, understand client requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to educate clients on the benefits of our systems.
**2. Account Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including installers, developers, and EPCs.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts to ensure ongoing sales opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, project requirements, and support.
**3. Technical Support and Solution Design**:
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to create customized designs for clients.
- Stay informed about racking product specifications, site assessments, and installation best practices.
- Advise clients on technical aspects, including load requirements, regulatory compliance, and installation processes.
**4. Project Coordination**:
- Work closely with project management teams to ensure the successful execution of our installations.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and logistics to meet project deadlines.
- Address any project-related issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
**5. Market Analysis and Strategy**:
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted at our solutions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve product offerings and enhance market competitiveness.
**6. Sales Reporting and Forecasting**:
- Track and report sales activities, pipelines, and revenue forecasts to management.
- Monitor sales metrics and adjust tactics as needed to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training to stay up-to-date with product advancements and industry trends.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of sales experience in the solar industry, with a focus on solar racking, mounting systems, or related products.
- Understanding of solar PV systems, racking solutions, and project management fundamentals.
- Strong sales, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Certifications in renewable energy or solar installation are a plus.
- Established network within the solar industry
