Sales Support Specialist

Overview:
Provides administrative support relating to Sales Department’s requirements. Working in conjunction with the Sales Analyst, measures and analyzes sales performance to achieve targets, budgets and profitability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, prepare customer packages, manage and coordinate confidential agreements through organized and effective communication.
- Ensure forecasts are accurate and in-line with the organization’s business plans, point-of-sale results and market dynamics. Evaluate and measure actual forecast performance against objectives and sales plans.
- Prepare and distribute monthly Sales staff performance against quota reports and standings.
- Liaise, on behalf of the sales team, with internal departments (Operations, Customer Service, Accounting, etc.) to ensure accurate and complete flow of information.
- Support product launch programs, campaigns and sales and marketing strategies.
- Maintain customer and CRM database, ensuring information is up-to-date, accurate and complete.
- Perform general office duties and administration on behalf of the sales team.
- Update and create sales presentations and coordinate with marketing.
- Plan and organize sales events, meetings, training sessions, trade shows, as required.
- Attend and support special events and trade shows, as required.
- Regularly communicate with sales team regarding order status, monthly and weekly sales reporting, budget updates, etc.
- Research and keep up-to-date on general competitive situation.
- Assist with travel and expense reporting, as needed, schedules, time and attendance updates.
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Metrics Action Plan (MAP).
- _Contribute to department and company improvement projects as required. _
- _Comply with Eberspaecher’s environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards. Report any issues not in compliance to supervisor or department manager._
- _Conduct and promote work in a safe and responsible manner and report any safety concerns immediately to the supervisor, department manager or a member of the Environmental Health & Safety Committee. Wear appropriate PPE and operate electric or manual material handling equipment in a safe manner in accordance with standards and procedures. _
- _Participate in company-sponsored training relating to sales, safety and quality, and any other mandated education and training. _
- _Maintain work area and physical plant in a neat, clean and orderly condition. _
- _Uphold Eberspaecher’s environmental and quality policies to limit the impact on its operations on the environment and prevent pollution through technological innovation and process efficiency by participating fully in Eberspaecher’s environmental and recycling programs as required on a daily basis._
- _Perform any other duties as required._

Education and Experience:

- Minimum university degree or college diploma with a major in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration or a related program
- Minimum five years related experience in sales coordination role or customer service role.
- Experience in preparing sales presentations, reports, customer analysis and coordinating events.
- SAP experience would be beneficial
- Five plus years in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong ability to analyze sales results and figures and translate results into actionable plans
- Strong knowledge of sales forecasting
