**Part-Time (Employed Or Contract)**

Creative Others is looking for a part-time Executive Assistant with bookkeeping experience (Approx 16 hours/week) to join our team. This position requires in-person attendance at our office at 780 E Cordova St (Parking provided) and we are open to remote work at times with prior communication. You will be working directly with the Director as well as taking instruction/guidance from the Finance Director for particular tasks.

This position plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our business by performing administrative duties as well as bookkeeping tasks.

**Roles And Responsibilities**:
**ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES MAY INCLUDE**:

- Contributing to the completion of ongoing and special projects, including assisting with process development, meeting management, and strategic planning initiatives
- Assisting with the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
- Developing and streamlining operational efficiencies, databases and filing systems
- Reviewing accountability systems within the organization
- Performing clean-up and organization of client files
- Reviewing, preparing and submitting award submissions
- Reviewing, compiling and presenting open RFPs to the director
- Data entry
- Researching for special projects
- General maintenance and upkeep of the studio space
- Other duties as required

**BOOKKEEPING DUTIES MAY INCLUDE**:

- Responsible for essential Bookkeeping tasks: Using Quickbooks Online, managing all data entry for A/R and A/P.
- Scanning and uploading receipts
- Reconciling and processing expense reports
- Ensuring all project budgets/finances are up to date
- Preparing payroll (via Quickbooks) and filing payroll taxes
- Other bookkeeping duties as required

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- A post-secondary degree/certification in accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration is preferred but not required
- Strong detail orientation skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills as well as proofreading and editing abilities
- High level of critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Possess great soft skills; collaborative, proactive, and approachable with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Enjoys organizing, establishing and maintaining policies and procedures
- Ability to identify and manage priorities with a sense of urgency
- Experience working with Neurodiverse Creatives is a bonus
- Must be legally eligible to work unrestricted in Canada

Compensation will be based on your qualifications and experience in the range of $25.00 to $35.00/hr

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
