Partner Programs Communications and Events Lead

**What you'll do**:
- Responsible for the design and execution of all one-to-many Partner Communications and Events Including: Quarterly Partner Community Calls, Semi Annual Diamond Event, Annual Gold Event, Annual Partner Awards and Recognition
- Responsible for internal PAM/DPM and Category Team Communications including PAM Community Calls, Partner Program Internal Communication and Education.
- Working in partnership with the communications team, evangelizing Softchoice/partner win stories both internally and externally
- Owner of the strategy for regionally focused Partner initiatives, including;
- Working with DSLs and Category leas to do a target market analysis and recommendations
- Development of content focus and alignment with key Partners who support the solutions messaging
- Design of internally focused event and communication to enable sellers with these partners strategies and messages
- Coordination of customer event in alignment with the same messaging
- Working in Partnership with Sales, Events, and BU/Category team: execute Quarterly SC Connect Events, Regional Summits, and Provide event support for Impact Tradeshow & Industry Conferences
- Event Design & Execution (Both In-Person and Virtual)
- End-to-end owner and orchestrator of assigned multi-city Partner event series and/or singular events in market and/or virtual Partner events that drive engagement and opportunities for sales supporting the growth of the business
- Research and source venues that deliver a ‘wow’ for customers, either in North America or around the world
- Coordinate touch-points with all stakeholders involved, including both large and intimate groups of people from all levels of the organization
- Negotiate contracts with outside caterers, suppliers and venues
- Create and manage event budget(s) to ensure they deliver within budget, providing regular budget updates to key stakeholders as required
- Coordinate all required printing, signage, etc. as required for each event
- Create event briefing documents and coordinate onsite staff to ensure smooth logístical execution
- Marketing Communications
- Collaborate with internal designer (or outside supplier when/where needed) to create various marketing collateral and event materials (including but not limited to banners, hero images, graphics, etc.)
- Drive innovation to boost productivity and create excitement around Partner events both in-person and virtual
- Draft communications and lead briefing presentations to update all stakeholders on event logistics and expectations
- Own all event reporting leading up to and including day-of the event, measuring tracking against pre-set business outcomes
- Post-Event Analysis
- Own all event reporting regarding event registration, attendance and success measures following each event
- Provide insights on what worked, what can be improved and where to focus efforts for future events
- Track marketing development funds and budgets to ensure projects operate within cost budget
- Create event summary report and present back to all key stakeholders
**What you'll bring to the table**:
- University level or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in event planning, external communications and project management related disciplines
- Strong, creative and efficient communicator with the ability to take complex information and make it accessible and easy to understand
- Interest and experience in managing stakeholders across an organization
- Excellent time and project management experience with the ability to manage complex and several smaller projects simultaneously
- Is skilled and experienced in designing and managing events
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects of varying kinds in a fast-paced changing environment
- Experience working as part of a cross functional team, including with business development resources, sales resources, graphic designers, copy writers and other functions
- Experience in B2B technology or related industries
- Experience and comfort working directly with senior leaders
- Post-secondary education in business, communications, marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience (an Event or Project Management Certificate is an asset)
