**About the Opportunity**:
Pre-Operative Booking Clerks are responsible for facilitating pre-operative clinic activities. Such activities include efficient utilization of clinic nursing/anaesthesia time. In addition, the Pre-Operative Booking Clerk is responsible for the coordination of registration and admission, booking patients and the required tests in preparation for surgery.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12
- One year related clerical experience, or successful completion of a recognized one year secretarial/office/business program
- Booking experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- PHS and STAR Registration preferred
- Knowledge of computers
- Data entry experience
- Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

- Permanent Full-time (100%) position, 70 Hours Bi-Weekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.09 - $21.91 hourly
