Junior Legal Assistant

FNF Canada, a division of Fidelity National Financial, is one of the country’s largest providers of title insurance and ancillary services. With our continued growth in Canada, we are seeking a **Junior** **Legal Assistant **on a **contract basis **for our Mississauga office.
**In-person collaboration, office-based work is necessary for the role.**
**Primary responsibilities**:
- Process discharge requests received from various clients.
- Complete and verify all mortgage information with client.
- Prepare applicable documents (i.e. discharge, mortgage document package, title change documents etc.) as per respective lender program requirements.
- Electronically register discharges or send for registration to respective LRO where required.
- Provide superior customer service to our clients.
- Monitor volumes and prioritize deals based on expected completion date.
**Qualifications**:
- College diploma in a related field
- Law firm background an asset.
- Minimum 6 months experience in Real Estate Law preferred.
- Experience with Teraview, Conveyancer
- Must be very organized and have excellent time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a Team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours including a 12pm-8pm shift and weekends when required.
