Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Data and AI seeks a technical Db2 product manager to join our Canada-based Data Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of data and AI technology through the development and execution of our product roadmap, working to accelerate the adoption and usage of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather customer feedback, identify market opportunities, and develop innovative solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand customer needs and market trends to prioritize requirements alongside other product owners and deliver outcome-based roadmaps.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
- Work with engineering, business development, sales, and marketing to bring products to market.
- Develop innovative solutions that solve customer problems - Contribute to the product lifecycle from discovery to launch.
- Track product performance and metrics.
- Act as a technical evangelist for our data integration product portfolio, driving both internal and external education and engagement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 12+ years of experience successfully managing and leading product or technical teams, preferably in the Data and AI space.
- Experience in managing projects and delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Track record of championing the voice of the customer, conducting customer-driven usability and hypothesis-driven experimentation.
- Deep passion and curiosity, with a desire to create innovative solutions, backed by data-driven insights.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Product Management experience in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge about IBM Db2 products, technology, and customers.
- Understanding of data and AI strategy, concepts, key trends, and competitors.
