- As a Pay Duty Coordinator, you will coordinate the Pay Duty Program by providing off-duty officers as a resource to special events to safeguard public/officer safety and public/private property. Primary duties include:

- Receive and record all requests and provide written acceptance of requests, billing information and procedures to contracting authorities and the Calgary Police Service (CPS) Finance Section.
- Approve or deny repeat requests and determine policing requirements.
- Coordinate process by securing officers for assignment.
- Provide information to CPS and other City Business Units and external agencies.
- Provide input into developing and editing standard operating procedures, policy and pay duty contract formats.
- Record information for availability database.

**Qualifications**
- A 1 year certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 3 years related experience in a law enforcement environment.
- Basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- An understanding of the Pay Duty Program is considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires service orientation, stress tolerance, efficiency and thoroughness and team building and teamwork. An effective communicator with a focus on results and the ability to build strong relationships.

**Pre-employment Requirements**
- An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.
