Front Counter/order Desk

We are looking for a Customer Service Order desk taker to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative tasks, telephone and retail sales.
As a member of the Reliable Team, you will be the first point of contact for our company. To be successful in this position, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is customer service role. You should be able to deal with public in a professional, timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking are essential for this position. This is a Tuesday through Saturday position.
**You will be Responsible for**:
- Serving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
- Answering the calls, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Open and close cash register, performing tasks such as counting money, and balancing cash.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges.
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.
- Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
- Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
- Clean shelves, and counter.
- Inventory stock and requisition new stock.
- Rent merchandise to customers.
- Other duties as required
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, Retail Sales or similar role is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with co-workers, managers and customers
- Problem solving skills
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn
**Working Conditions**
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- Lifting or moving up to 30 lbs. may be required
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
