Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Front Counter Cashier to join our upcoming Indian Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) at multiple locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). As the Front Counter Cashier, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions and orders.

**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service Excellence**: Welcome and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing detailed information about our menu offerings, specials, and promotions. Address customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.

**Order Processing**: Accurately and efficiently process customer orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring each transaction is handled smoothly.

**Cash Management**: Manage cash transactions, process payments, and provide customers with change while maintaining accuracy and security.

**Order Coordination**: Collaborate with kitchen and assembly staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Confirm order details and communicate any special requests to the kitchen.

**Multi-Location Support**: Willingness to work at different locations within the GTA, adapting to varying customer needs and restaurant settings.

**Upselling and Promotions**: Familiarize yourself with our menu items and promotional offers to upsell and enhance the overall customer experience.

**Maintaining Cleanliness**: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area and dining space, presenting a welcoming environment for customers.

**Shift Reporting**: Accurately report cash and credit card transactions, reconcile sales, and complete end-of-shift reports.

**Assist with Servers**: Provide support to servers when needed, helping deliver food orders to tables and ensuring a seamless dining experience for dine-in customers.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Front Counter Cashier in the food service industry, preferably in quick service or fast-casual restaurants, with a strong background in Indian cuisine knowledge.

**Customer-Centric Approach**: Genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service, with the ability to maintain a positive and engaging demeanor even during busy periods.

**Cash Handling Experience**: Proficient in handling cash transactions accurately, with a keen eye for detail and excellent math skills.

**Flexibility**: Availability to work 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the willingness to work at different locations based on operational needs.

**Team Player**: Collaborative and cooperative, willing to work closely with kitchen and assembly staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

**Food Knowledge**: Familiarity with Indian cuisine, menu items, and ingredients to address customer inquiries and make informed recommendations.

**Reliability**: Punctual and dependable, committed to maintaining regular attendance and being an essential part of our team.

**Communication Skills**: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
