**Human Resources Clerk, Human Resources and Organizational Development**:
**Required Position**:
The Human Resources and Organizational Development is currently looking to fill two (2) Human Resources Clerk positions.
- Full-Time Permanent Appointment
- Full-Time Term Appointment : One (1) year contract

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director of Service Excellence, and supporting various Human Resources and Organizational Development (HROD) functions, the Human Resources Clerk will be responsible for various administrative task while maintaining effective and efficient service delivery; providing information and assistance to the HROD team; ensuring compliance with processes, policies, procedures and collective agreements; creating and distributing various correspondence to internal and external stakeholders.

**Non-Faculty Recruitment and Selection**
- Prepares and coordinates recruitment documents including job postings, and recruitment folder;
- Ensures posting and recruiting processes follow Laurentian University policies, procedures, collective agreements, etc. ;
- Schedules and administers appropriate employment interviews and testing;
- Maintains complete and accurate recruitment records.

**Record and Data Management**
- Maintains and tracks various HR processes, including but not limited to the job postings report, MyLaurentian posting platform.

**Other Human Resources Functions**
- Provide support for the preparation of reports and information to support HR functions and decision making for administrative matters;
- Provides support to the HR team members as directed;
- Performs a wide variety of clerical, technical, administrative, and office support, including but not limited to, employment documentation, and client support;
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of two (2) year Diploma in a Business or Human Resources Management field;
- Minimum One (1) to three (3) years related experience preferably in a Human Resources capacity is considered an asset ;
- Interest in successfully completing the academic requirement for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is considered an asset;
- Knowledge of: Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, Health and Safety Act and recruitment best practices;
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with integrity and confidentiality;
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines and the need to respond quickly to meet departmental/employee needs;
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as perform effectively as a member of a team;
- High level of attention to detail;
- High proficiency in word processing and database software;
- Demonstrated problem solving skills;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps and experience working with integrated management information systems;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in both French and English are required.

The official University hours of operation shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, during, and including, the months from September to April, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Friday during and including May to August., amounting to thirty-three and three-qua
