Position Overview

Under general supervision, the HR Specialist will engage in a variety of human resource functions, including maintaining HR information systems, supporting recruitment and talent management, overseeing performance evaluations, and facilitating employee training and development. This role will also contribute to HR project management aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and driving performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to HR Business Partners in managing employee relations, including job offers, terminations, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Assist in talent acquisition processes and related projects.
  • Conduct orientations for new employees to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HR information systems.
  • Coordinate employee benefit payments and reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement health and wellness initiatives.
  • Assist in the administration of employee recognition programs.
  • Support HR communications and training for managers and staff on new initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of human resource principles and practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience with employee benefits and recruitment processes is a plus.
