**Position Overview**
**Responsibilities**:
- Support Jira Software and JIRA Service Management administration and other tools within the Atlassian platform, including creation and management of custom, complex projects, approval workflows, automation rules, custom fields, dashboards and reports configurations.
- Provide guidance and support in structuring the existing Service Management processes within JIRA Service Management, following ITIL best practices.
- Lead the setup and implementation of the Atlassian tools across the organization.
- Install, manage and administer Jira add-ons, plugins, and extensions.
- Conduct training for the users and new hires on Jira regarding how to use the tools, new functionality, etc.
- Create, maintain and support dashboards and advanced filters for end users reporting capabilities.
- Provide User Management and grant user permissions.
- Create and maintain detailed technical and user facing documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise with Jira Projects and workflows.
- Interact with existing vendors for support and additional troubleshooting.
- Provide guidance and recommendations in the use of best practices around JIRA and Atlassian tools.
**Qualifications, Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, Engineering or related industry
- 2-5 years of experience in Jira administration with a track record of managing JIRA Software and JIRA Service Management Cloud environments
- Familiarity with JIRA plugins and add-ons for extended functionality
- Experience with Jira APIs, Tool Integration, JIRA Advanced Roadmap and Jira Configuration Manager
- Proficient in Project Setups, Components, JIRA Reporting and Dashboards
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into a technical/development plan.
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users effectively.
- Experience on dealing with Atlassian products, support and billing.
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles
- Relevant certifications such as Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator (ACP-100) are a plus.
**Working Conditions**:
Office-first hybrid work model. This position will be expected to work onsite a minimum of 2-3 days per week or as required based on business needs.
