**Position Summary**:
The **IT Support Admin** will be responsible for the management and maintenance of Apple devices within the organization, ensuring their security and optimal performance. This role will leverage JAMF Pro to automate device deployments, configure security settings, and manage software updates. The individual will also provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot device issues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our Apple device ecosystem. This role requires a strong understanding of Apple and Windows technologies, proficiency in JAMF Pro, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role includes occasional on-call duties to respond to urgent system issues outside of normal business hours.

**JAMF Pro Management**
- Implement, configure, and maintain MDM to manage macOS and windows devices across the organization.
- Create and deploy policies, profiles, and scripts for automated device configuration, security settings, and software deployments.
- Manage and maintain accurate device inventory, user accounts, and access permissions within JAMF Pro.
- Proactively monitor JAMF Pro server health, performance, and troubleshoot any related issues.
- Stay abreast of new JAMF Pro features and updates, testing and implementing them to enhance device management capabilities.

**Software Deployment & Management**
- Manage software licenses, renewals, and updates to ensure cost-effectiveness and security.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of software deployments with existing systems.
- Provide technical support to Jira users.
- Create and maintain documentation for Jira processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on Jira best practices and new features.

**End-User Support & Troubleshooting**
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users on Apple or Windows device-related issues, both remotely and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems on Apple or Windows devices.
- Assist users with account setup, password resets, and access to company resources.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of support requests, solutions, and knowledge base articles.

**Security & Compliance**
- Implement and enforce security policies to protect company data on Apple devices, including encryption, firewall configuration, and password requirements.
- Regularly audit device security configurations and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to potential security incidents promptly.
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure alignment with overall organizational security policies.

**Qualifications**
**Education**
**Minimum Required**:
College Degree
**Preferred**:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
**Experience**
**Minimum Required**:
- 2+ years experience managing and supporting Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Intune, JAMF)
- Experience with Mac OS, iOS, Android, and Windows device management
- Knowledge of mobile security protocols and best practices
- Experience with device enrollment, configuration, and deployment
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Excellent customer service skills
**Preferred**:
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience with scripting or automation tools for MDM tasks
- Experience with project management methodologies
**Additional Certifications or Designations**
**Minimum Required**:
- JAMF Certified
**Preferred**:
- JAMF and Intunes Certified
- Knowledge of ITIL framework
