**Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Receivable**
- Process and manage all invoices in a timely manner.
- Review and manage credit balances, refunds, and adjustments.
- Manage collections of outstanding accounts and work with customers to resolve; escalate to Controller as necessary.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions.
- Portal set up for customers and entries of invoices in Portal.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure invoices are accurate.

**Accounts Payable**
- Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
- Self-assessment of PST on invoices.
- Verify and reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Manage the weekly cheque run preparation.
- Reconcile all expenses and credit card statements for WRE and prepare for payment processing.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.

**Payroll**
- Preparation and administration of payroll for union and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy of payroll processing reports.
- Generate/reconcile bi-weekly payroll reports and operation labour reports.
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees.
- Maintain employee files, spreadsheets, and update employee information.
- Implementation and maintenance of Payroll onboarding and outsourcing with Ceridian (Dayforce).

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5 years accounting & payroll experience.
- Experience working in a union environment an asset.
- A good understanding of federal and provincial regulations, CRA payroll deduction calculations and BC Employment Standards.
- Experience with EPICOR ERP system and Ceridian (Dayforce) preferred.
- High level of proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately reconcile, calculate, post, correct and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Strong diplomatic, negotiation and conflict resolution skills in order to handle Accounts Receivable delinquent accounts.
- Experience in gathering data, compiling the proper information and preparing financial reports.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners.
