**Talent Acquisition Representative - Employed Student Nurse & New Grad Nurses**

In supporting new nurses to follow their dreams, your work will also support Provincial Health Service Authority in continuing to build our health care teams across the province, and ultimately, make a positive effect on patient care within British Columbia.
**What you’ll do**
The Talent Acquisition Representative provides recruitment services including applicant screening and qualifying, routing, testing, coordination, and interviewing, with a focus on new nurses. As Talent Acquisition Representative, you’ll partner with a Recruitment Advisor and work with leaders, employees, and external applicants to support filling vacancies and workforce planning. Connecting with potential hires will include organizing school visits to meet new graduates, supporting the Employed Student Nurse program, and managing referrals for international nursing applicants. Usual tasks will include:
- Provide information recruitment and selection to operational leaders (Hiring Managers), with clear understanding of collective agreements, processes, policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment.
- Contact successful / qualified job applicants to offer positions; create detailed hiring documentation and complete hiring system requirements.
- Manage assigned portfolio: assess applicant suitability, refer applicants to hiring managers, coordinate the hiring process including participating on interview panels.
- Liaise with external agencies with regards to competitions and recruitment events including planning, logistics and scheduling where necessary.
**What you bring**
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Two years of recent related experience in human resources / recruitment, with knowledge of collective agreements within the health care sector.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in addition to excellent listening skills; exceptional interpersonal skills; maintains focus on providing excellent client service.
- Detail-oriented with ability to work efficiently on multiple projects in a fast-paced office environment, while supported by a great team (and an amazing organization).
- Maintains flexibility and a strong capacity to adapt quickly to changing priorities / tasks with an emphasis on time and project coordination.
- Experienced in coordinating large-scale, complex recruitment processes; with ability to administer recruitment budgets for projects and collaboration.
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
