As a Manager, Talent Acquisition (TA), you lead, coach and mentor a team dedicated to the attraction and acquisition of strategic talent. You are a strategic partner within the TA team working to continuously evolve the global TA process.

Your portfolio includes our Merchandising, Planning and Allocation, Brand Marketing and Creative Design teams located in North Vancouver, Portland and Tokyo.

Your direct reports include the lead Creative Design recruiter and Brand, Merchandise Recruiter.

**If you were the Manager, Talent Acquisition now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:

- Managing, prioritizing, and planning recruitment activities in support of the Brand Marketing, Merchandise and Creative Design Organization.
- Responsible for the weekly and monthly recruiting updates across your functions and geographies in support of the business leaders.
- Leading, mentoring and supporting your current and future team members, in organizational growth within the business and their personal development
- Managing and supporting your team using key metrics (Time to hire/fill) to assess your team’s performance
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment (Sourcing, interviewing, and selection) using the Arc’teryx competencies to make hiring recommendations to the business
- Balancing your teams open headcount along with supporting other TA leaders as needed to balance workloads
- Updating and assisting in headcount planning meetings with both the business and the P&C business partnership team by offering market insight and data to support decisions
- Presenting status updates to the Sr. Director of TA through customized dashboards in line with our target metrics as an organization
- Leading strategic sourcing and pipeline strategy to meet business needs and overall company objectives
- Creating strong working relationships with senior leaders to ensure a solid understanding of recruitment needs for both their specific departments, as well as the overall business
- Driving market outlook conversations during headcount planning and talent beta sessions
- Managing the cleanliness of data for you and your teams requisitions via our ATS
- Coordinating with the different People & Culture teams to ensure new employees are hired and onboarded seamlessly
- Supporting the People & Culture team with cross functional projects

- Leading the Talent Acquisition team in developing and executing long-term strategies in both NAM and APAC
- Helping to identify roadblocks in our processes, while seeking ways to improve workflows to maximize efficiencies and our time to hire
- Actively participating in identifying and supporting TA projects and initiatives
- Representing your area of the business in creating employer branding initiatives

**Are you our next Manager, Talent Acquisition?**:

- You have 8+ years of talent acquisition experience in a complex, global environment
- You have 2+ years in leading a talent acquisition team
- You have built customized recruitment strategies and can work autonomously
- You have strong interpersonal skills with a positive and approachable work ethic, and an evident desire and ability to build strong relationships with a customer-service focused mentality
- You are not afraid to fail and use every opportunity to learn and share
