**Job Title**: Settlement Officer - Toronto Operations Department

**Main Purpose of Job**: Handle the Settlement and Compliance matters of the company including the filing of required documents and preparation of various reports as per requirements and the daily settlement operation, formulating and enforcing internal control policies and handling office administrative duties.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Prepare reports and maintain sound filing system according to group policies.

2. Support officers of Compliance and Operations matters of company.

3. Arrange funds transfer as per client instruction and maintain proper segregation of client’s funds.

4. Assist the Operations Manager in Settlement operations.

5. Provide proactive support and quality service in the daily Settlement operations along the guideline with risk control procedures.

6. Ensure all procedures are in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policy.

7. Set up and implement client account opening, closing and maintenance procedures.

8. Supervise daily clients, company and counter party trading exposures.

9. Undertake ad hoc projects.

**Requirements**:
1. University graduates in Business, finance or related discipline.

2. 1 - 3 years of experience in financial industries, particularly in accounting, risk control or operations is preferred.

3. Able to work independently.

4. Familiar with rules and regulations of local authority, experience in FX settlement is an asset.

5. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, Putonghua is essential.
