Since 1975, HJ Machine & Pattern (HJM) has provided jigs, inspection and assembly fixtures, and CNC and CMM services to automotive, defense, oil & gas, mining, machine manufacturing, foundries, agriculture, and other industries. HJ Waterloo, Ontario location is ISO 9001:2015 registered and has CAD/CAM, CNC, CMM and other machining capabilities. Our gauges and fixtures made with metal, composite, and wood materials are well known to industrial clients in Canada, the USA, Mexico, and Europe.

**Marketing**:
1) Design, develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base in Canada, the USA and other countries around the globe.

2) Set sales goals (KPI), compare performance to goals and develop tactics to meet the objectives. The goal is to win, build and maintain relationships with clients and customers and aggressively profitable growth.

3) Evaluate the current and future products of the organization and develop new sales channels to increase the firm’s revenue.

4) Lead the efforts to rebrand the organization aligned with its new strategy.

5) Contact current and potential clients to obtain RFQ, collect all necessary project information to generate detailed estimates and submit winning quotations for work performed.

6) Maintain regular communication with colleagues to coordinate project completion on time and within budget.

7) Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment. Assess individual performance through observation and measurement and suggest corrective actions as needed.

8) Run a marketing campaign to attract new customers.

9) Increase brand awareness using traditional and digital channels.

**Purchasing**:
1) Use a proactive approach to identify and develop a relationship with upstream supply-chain partners to support the HJMP strategy.

2) Develop and maintain a qualified and reliable supply chain.

3) Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.

4) Review BOM and ensure that raw material is available on time for the projects.

5) Manage inventory in the shop and the E2 Boss (ERP). Ensure that the system stays current for all tools and raw materials.

**Qualifications**:
2) Proficiency in GD&T, CAD software and good understanding, preferably solid experience in manufacturing and assembly processes, may be required to complete this step.
