**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement communication plans and strategies in alignment with the organization's goals.
- Create, edit, and distribute high-quality content for internal and external audiences, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media updates, and marketing materials.
- Manage and update the organization's website and social media profiles to ensure content is current, accurate, and engaging.
- Coordinate and support the planning and execution of events/program promotion, including press conferences, webinars, and community outreach activities.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and effective messaging.
- Monitor media coverage and manage media relations, including responding to inquiries and maintaining media contact lists.
- Collaborate with internal teams, to align communication efforts and support various initiatives.
- Track and report on communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or any other relevant educational accreditation.
- 1-3 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within social media marketing/administration.
- Bilingualism in French and English will be preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with graphic design tools is a plus.
- Experience working within anti-oppressive, anti-racist, decolonial, consensus
- based frameworks are a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
