Reporting to the Associate Director, Employee and Labour Relations, the Employee Relations Associate provides employees with guidance and support on HR related processes and policies and is responsible for processing employee and data transactions and will also support the Employee and Labour Relations (ER/LR) Team with all administrative matters.

**Accountabilities**:
Provides timely and accurate advice and support to general HR inquiries related to policies, processes and onboarding matters
Maintains accurate case management process, records and case notes
Guides employees in the effective use of self-service to submit inquiries, update personal data, and research HR policies and procedures
Directly supports ER/LR team members with performance management, disability management, departures and labour relations matters. Specifically, STD/ LTD administration, drafting letters, meeting minutes, correspondence and presentations, research, updating templates/ trackers and analyzing and sharing data.
Other duties, as assigned.

**Skills & Experience**:
1-3+ years of generalist HR knowledge
Completed post-secondary education, preferably in HR or Business Administration, working towards completion of HR designation an asset
Strong relationship management, listening, communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities while mitigating risk to the organization
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple initiatives and deadlines while meeting service level agreements
Adaptable and ability to work in a new and changing environment and learn quickly
Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end processes; experience with transaction processing and data management
Knowledge of HR systems and ability to leverage basic technology functionality (e.g., case management, knowledge management).
Working knowledge of Workday an asset
