Toronto, Canada Sunnybrook Academic Family Health Team Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Reporting directly to the Executive Director of the Sunnybrook Academic Family Health Team (SAFHT) the Administrative Assistant will**:
Provide administrative support for the SAFHT Executive Director

Assist patients will bill payments for services rendered

Maintain and update patient wait lists and support patient rostering processes

Assist with administrative on-boarding of new employees

Organize and collate monthly team meeting agendas and minutes for distribution in advance of scheduled meetings

Take minutes at team meetings and distribute same to team members in a timely manner

Support scheduling and booking of meeting rooms

Maintain office supply lists and order office supplies

Send clinic wide communications as needed to advise of operational issues or concerns

**The Requirements**:
Previous administrative assistant experience in health care settings

Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills

Proficient in MS Office Suite with a strong background in Excel

Proficient at organizing and scheduling meetings using virtual platforms such as zoom and Microsoft Office

Proficient at taking minutes

Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems esp. Telus Practice Solutions an asset.

Exceptional customer service skills

Ability to manage patient confidentiality at all times
- **Please note that this position is with the Sunnybrook Academic Family Health Team. Salary and benefits are different than the hospital. We are not a HOOPP employer.**:

- **Contract extension may be possible depending on clinic operational needs **

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
