**C-92 Provincial Coordinator**

**Position Status**: Full-time (40 hours/week), Permanent

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, facilitate logistics, and implement provincial C-92 specific engagements, activities, and events including in-person presentations and discussions, and online engagements.
- Develop Otipemisiwak Métis Government citizen engagement guidelines, policies, procedures, and program evaluations.
- Develop and implement culturally sensitive surveys.
- Capture information in a respectful manner during engagement sessions.
- Report and analyze feedback and recommendations gathered from citizen engagements and develop recommendations and policy advice for the Otipemisiwak Métis Government in regard to Act C-92.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders on current, and developing, child, youth, and family program policy issues.
- Maintain awareness of government policies, procedures, programs, and laws related to Act C-92 and provide briefing and recommendations to ensure programs and operations meet the overarching direction of the Children and Family Services department.
- Assist in the planning, design, development, and implementation of Métis Children and Family services specific programming.
- Develop and maintain templates and tools to guide Act C-92 programs.
- Support other department initiatives and perform other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary baccalaureate degree in a related field required.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience with event coordination and program development and implementation.
- Previous experience working in community engagement capacity preferred.
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check will be required.
- Clear Child Intervention Record Check required.

**Other Requirements**
- The position will be based in Edmonton; in-office presence will be required.
- Ability to work office hours of Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Availability to work evenings and weekends, on occasion.
- Must be willing to travel within Alberta and work irregular hours, on occasion, to meet project needs.
- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Acceptable attainment and annual maintenance of a Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check and an Intervention Check is required.
