**Human Resources Manager/Director**
- We are looking for a Human Resource professional who has a passion for nurturing and supporting the development of engaged Teams. Cottage Dream Vacations is led by seasoned hospitality experts and we are seeking an experienced Human Resource specialist to compliment our Executive team.
- The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the management and administration of Human Resource services for all properties in the Cottage Dream Vacations portfolio.
- The Human Resources Manager's main responsibilities will be to create a comprehensive HR program for the parent company and each of our cottage resorts as we develop them across Canada in order to ensure continuity through the country.
- This role reports to the EVP of Business Development
- Cottage Dream Vacations and works closely with The General Managers at our properties.
- Primary point of contact for all HR matters
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, initial screening interviews, extending offers and onboarding and orientations, working collaboratively with hiring managers through the process, which will begin with managing the hiring of 30 full time positions at our Hay Bay Resort in Napanee, Ontario through the spring of 2023.
- Work with hiring managers to create/update job descriptions.
- Assist with Brand training & development.
- Support and advise managers on HR best practices, Ont. Employment Standards, conflict resolution, performance management and more.
- Manage benefit program.
- Assist with Occupational Health & Safety, assuring departments are compliant.
- Maintain, analyze, and share HR metrics.
- Establish strong relationships with managers and team members.
- Assist with policy development and updates.
- Collaboratively work with managers to create a positive, safe, and diverse workplace culture
- Assist in planning and carrying out team events.
- Any other general duties or tasks as required.
- **Our parent company, Cottage Dream Vacations, is also developing similar Resorts across Canada and there may be occasions where you’re asked to consult on the development of other Resorts**.

**Job Requirements**

**What You Bring**:

- Minimum 5 years in HR Management
- Experience leading high performance teams.
- Degree or diploma in related field; or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to work well both collaboratively and independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and time management skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel.
- Previous hospitality experience (asset)
