**Human Resources Associate**
**Full-Time**
Reporting to the Vice President, Human Capital, the Human Resources Associate will provide support to the Human Capital Advisor with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
Working within a fast-paced environment Human Resources Associate will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Participating throughout the full cycle of recruitment, selection and hiring process
- Assisting in the coordination and facilitation of the new hire onboarding and orientation program
- Processing new hires, status changes, LOA, and terminations, etc.
- Preparing and confirming offers of employment letters, legal file documentations, etc.
- Maintaining and monitoring documentation compliance for contract Foot Care Nurses
- Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of all paper and electronic employee and payroll files
- Filing, data entry, and other tasks related office organization
- Participating in projects, assignments, and committees (i.e., AODA, DEI, JHSC)
**Qualifications required**:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management (i.e., Human Resources degree, three-year diploma, or graduate certificate required
- CHRP designation or working towards is an asset
- Proven experience in recent and related role
- Demonstrated experience with an HRIS or similar database
- Basic knowledge of Employment Law is asset (i.e., ESA, AODA, HRC, OHSA etc.)
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Strong Communication Skills - written and verbally
- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check or Enhanced Police Information Check
- Sensitivity to adults with needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health
- Adhere to COVID-19 safety practices including two doses of COVID-19 Vaccine (where medically able in accordance with our Immunization Policy) is recommended
- Must work in a safe manner and promote the health and safety of all staff, volunteers, clients, and the community as outlined within CCD policies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a growing and evolving organization
**Compensation**:Starting at $45,000 annually; three (3) weeks’ vacation per year of work (pro-rated to hours worked); 11 paid (including stat) holidays; health, insurance and pension benefits when eligible.
