**Office Administrator**
**Job Location**: Hamilton, Ontario
**Job Type**: Permanent, On site
**About the role**:
This position reports to the Executive Assistant.
**Key Responsibilities-**
**What you bring to the table**:
- 3-5 years recent related experience in an office administration role required with a heavy focus on customer service.
**Job Skills and Knowledge**:
- Carry out general reception duties, including greeting and welcoming all guests.
- Serve as the definitive Stelco employee liaison; answer questions from all Stelco employees and channel inquires as appropriate.
- Provide general administrative support as required, including but not limited to:
- Receiving and processing invoices to be submitted to Accounting in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (training will be provided)
- Catering arrangements;
- Booking facilities (maintain meeting rooms);
- Assisting with courier deliveries (incoming and outgoing);
- As needed, assistance to various departments;
- Facilitate on-site office equipment service or repairs;
- Preparing correspondence;
- Organizing meetings and company/office-wide events.
- Provide front-line customer service to vendors; answer inquires and direct issues to appropriate Stelco employees.
- Own the maintenance and upkeep of the company staff and services directories and supplier contact information.
- Point of contact for building maintenance issues.
- Provide vacation back up for Executive Assistant as needed.
- Maintain and order office supplies for general office staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Job Skills and Knowledge**:
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong sense of team spirit.
- Capability to multi-task and handle competing priorities under pressure while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
