Job description

**Office Administrator**

We are looking for a competent Office Administrator to perform various administrative, clerical tasks and customer service to support our office. You will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from answering the phones, taking orders, managing customer accounts, to basic accounts receivable duties and invoicing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Friendly and knowledgeable when answering the phone to take orders or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
- Undertake basic invoicing tasks and account receivables duties
- Assist in making accounts receivables collection calls and in setting up payment terms for clients
- Assist in maintaining new and existing customer accounts with inspections and equipment
- Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
- Perform other office duties as assigned
- Monitor market trends, create advertising campaigns, develop pricing strategies and targeting strategies based on demographic data and work with our company to develop more awareness of our products and services

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in business/office administration or equivalent experience.

**Work Experience**: 1 year of business administration experience an asset.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Ability to perform administrative duties with speed and accuracy, as well as the ability to work and think independently
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office, office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, telephone techniques, office equipment and filing
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Detail driven and can identify and correct problems
- Reliable and professional with proven track record of good attendance
- Experience with social media and marketing

- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to maintain a good working relationship with all fellow employees, brokers, management, sub-contractors and the general public and to use good judgement in recognizing scope of authority.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
