**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
We are looking for an experienced **IT Support Specialist** to manage and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring a secure and efficient environment for our high-volume photo studio. This role will collaborate with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to oversee servers, networking hardware, security systems, and end-user devices.

**JOB TYPE**:Full-Time

**LOCATION**:Vancouver, BC (Office-based role)

**COMPENSATION**:$60,000 - $80,000 per annum (based on experience and skill set)

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Operating Systems & Server Management**
- Manage Windows Server (2008-2022) and Active Directory (AD DS)
- Oversee DNS, DHCP, File Server, and Print Server roles
- Virtualize servers using Hyper-V
- Automate tasks using Windows PowerShell

**Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Tools**
- Support Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Administer SharePoint Online and Teams for collaboration

**Network Infrastructure & Management**
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls (Fortinet/Sophos)
- Manage VPN solutions for secure remote access
- Monitor and optimize network performance
- Use network traffic analysis tools for troubleshooting

**Cloud & Collaboration Services**
- Manage Google Workspace (Gmail for Business, Google Drive)
- Ensure file sharing and cloud-based collaboration tools are operational

**Middleware Servers & Virtualization**
- Manage server hardware (HP ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge)
- Administer virtualization environments using Hyper-V

**Networking Protocols & Security**
- Configure TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and NAT
- Set up and manage VLANs and ACLs for traffic control
- Implement security measures (firewalls, IDS/IPS)

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 3+ years of progressive experience as an IT Support Specialist.
- Strong experience with Windows Server and networking technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of network security and traffic management tools.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V) and server management. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize network and system performance.
