IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **IT Support Specialist (NOC 22221)** to join our team. We are a leading healthcare group with multiple branches. As we continue to expand our operations, we are committed to providing top-notch technical support to our users.
**Responsibilities**: As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure for our four branches. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support to users across four branches of the Health Group.
- Offering troubleshooting expertise for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and software.
- Setting up and managing user accounts and permissions.
- Monitoring system performance and implementing security measures.
- Collaborating with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and providing training, guidance, and support to end-users.
- Documenting technical processes and procedures.
- Completing other tasks as assigned by the IT leader.
**Requirements**:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Must have university degree in information technology or computer science. Over 5 years of experience
- in similar role.
- Microsoft Operating Systems and Office 365 support.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and someone who holds ITIL foundation preferred.
- Understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users
- Knowledge of firewall configurations, WAN/LAN, and security protocols
**Job Type**: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

- Microsoft Certificate (Teams or Azure preferred)
- PMP
- Data analysis
- MS-Power BI
- Certified Information Systems Auditor**CISA**:
- **ITIL **foundation** (preferred)**:

- Cisco Certified Network Associate**CCNA**
**Schedule**:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Location**: Vancouver, BC V6P 6G5
- Applicants must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)_
