**About**:
Alpha Aviation Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join their growing organization. Based in and responsible for their main office located at the Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB) in Delta, BC, this role will require strong office support skills, supporting the Operations team at the airport terminal, executive assistant duties supporting the President, and involvement with all 6 of the companies that Alpha Aviation manages. As the “face” to clients, customers, vendors, pilots, and Alpha Aviation team members, the Administrative Assistant position will be very dynamic, where no day will be the same

**Responsibilities**:

- Day to day office operations, including reception (answering phone calls, greeting guests), phone and IT support for all team members (set up virtual meetings via Zoom, Teams or conference), meeting coordination, and filing of documents
- General office upkeep and maintenance - ensuring that the office, kitchen and boardroom are clean and tidy at all times and have all necessary supplies
- Inventory management - tracking and managing inventory levels of office supplies, stationary and other office essentials, and placing orders when supplies are low
- Airport terminal maintenance - responsible for the general upkeep of the pilot lounge
- Administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Director of Operations, Accounting & HR, Manager of Airport Planning and Projects, Operation Supervisors, Team Leads and Airport Contractors
- Marketing and event planning - assisting with the annual Airshow, organizing and coordinating company events, managing and optimizing social media accounts, assisting IT with website maintenance and drafting of content, and overseeing membership and sponsorship of various aviation and business associations

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in office administration, office coordination and executive assistance in a professional environment
- Role is based in the office at the Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB); able to be in the office 5 days a week
- After-hours availability for on-demand urgent needs and requests
- Must have use of their own personal vehicle to run errands and support other requests
- A can-do customer service-oriented attitude, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and strong aptitude for learning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - organized, high attention to detail, and strong knowledge of MS 365 including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe
- Ability to use office equipment, such as phone system and comfortable using video conferencing technology
- Must be social media saavy and able to use Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Prior event management experience would be an asset
- May have an Associate or Bachelor degree in business administration or equivalent
