**Purchasing and General Office Administrator**

Del’s Purchasing and General Office Administrator will be responsible to ensure that no shortage or overstock occurs within our warehouse for our operation. With approximately 38 different ingredients, packaging materials, labels, and supplies to order - he/she will need to be a quick learner, eager and a team player. Coordination between production schedules and suppliers are fundamental for a successful outcome.

**Purchasing and Inventory**:

- Ordering supplies, ingredients, and all other raw materials for Del’s.
- Manage inventory flow through our just in time production operation and adhering to lead times for shelf life.
- Issue and distribute material timeline for shipments to production team.
- Keep inventory sorting system organized and efficient.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate space for new materials and document any waste.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices for weekly reports.
- Prepare weekly reports for all purchased items, explanations, analysis, price adjustments and others as required for Operations Manager or designate.
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal database for appropriate use.
- Update outdated procedures with new and efficient ideas to reduce waste.
- Competent in shipping software system(s), most notably SAP.
- Follow all safe operating procedures and compliance measures for both GMP, SQF and Del’s Pastry policies/procedures
- Follow up with warehouse team on quality of purchased products for food safety provisions and quality assurance.
- Ensure food safety remains high priority and is an ambassador for a food-safe culture.
- Other duties as required

**General Office Administration**:

- Coordination with Sales for processing sales orders
- Provide analysis and justification for expenditure to CFO.
- Cross-trained with Logistics for truck scheduling, shipping paperwork and other administrative tasks.
- Review outgoing shipment schedule.

**Relationship Management**
- Establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with suppliers (old and new).
- Understand and abide contract terms of agreement and pricing.

**Qualifications**
- Must have minimum of 2+ years of supply chain and/or inventory management
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Supply Chain / Business Administration / Purchasing Certification a strong asset
- Previous experience using SAP or other MRP System
- Highly motivated and exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP and other functions required).
- Team player with positive attitude to work alongside internal and external customers
- Must think quickly and be adaptable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
