Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team for the summer months. The Office Administrator will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, providing support to the team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This is a crucial role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Note: We strongly encourage younger adults who are seeking a summer position to apply.
**Duties**:
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with suppliers
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with phone systems and proper phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
