Toronto, Canada Couture Pop-Ups Full time

As our Brand Partnerships Specialist, you will be responsible for developing exclusive partnership deals with mid-tier and high-end luxury apparel brands. You will identify brands in the retail sector that are looking for a unique approach to liquidating over stock or past season merchandise. Creating brand exclusive partnership contracts that are beneficial for Couture Pop-Ups as well as our brand partners in terms of revenue, scalable in terms of long-term potential, and strategic in the sense that they support the growth of our brand partners and our growing customer base.

In this sales-driven role you will be expected to leverage your existing relationships as well as build new relationships with companies in the fashion industry. As such you must be able to work at a strategic level, generating bold and imaginative partnership ideas that sit at the intersection of Couture Pop-Ups strategic needs and those of our potential partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify potential and secure partnership opportunities with other fashion brands and retailers
- Leverage existing, develop new and nurture existing relationships with key stakeholders in mid-tier, high-end fashion industry
- Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create brand pitches
- Expand Couture’s partnership portfolio across other fashion related verticals such as beauty, handbags, jewelry, etc.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives
- Monitor partnership performance and report on key metrics and continually evaluate and improve partnership strategies.
- Build and develop new relationships with key stakeholders/brand prospects
- Build and cultivate a pipeline of brands to generate consistent, predictable new brand signups
- Manage the sales pipeline and focusing on closing new business via strategic partnerships and venue sales targets

- have a set of well established relationships with key companies in the high fashion industry
- a track record of creating successful strategic partnerships.
- experienced in the North American market in particular is also essential.

Outside of that, you will have the following skills that will help set you up for success:

- Self-starter with a bias for action who can make things happen when faced with ambiguity
- A 'can-do' attitude, flexibility, creativity, and 'outside the box' thinking
- High performance under pressure and a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Excellent communication skills and experience selling to senior executives
- Robust knowledge of and experience implementing best in class strategic partnerships
- Experience of working cross-functionally in a very collaborative environment
- Resilient temperament, focused and persistent honing in on what really matters to move the needle
- 3+ years of experience in fashion brand partnerships or related field.
- Strong understanding of the fashion industry, sales and market trends
- Proven track record of developing and managing successful partnerships
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
- Passion for sustainable fashion and making a positive impact on the industry.
