**Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, evening and weekend work may be required**

**Position Summary**
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the human resource function of the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining confidential employee records, managing benefits administration, various HR documentation, and other general employment policies, as well as assisting with recruitment to ensure the end-to-end running of HR operations, processes, and project.
The Human Resource Coordinator uses the necessary tools, such as HRIS software and programs in the process to aid administration and recruitment.
**Responsibilities**
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Manage human resources records by keeping up to date employee files including employment contracts, performance reviews, policies, and benefits forms.
- Update and maintain required HR documentation/policies and maintain/update shared drives for the HR team.
- Maintain the human resources information system (HRIS) by tracking and reporting on employee data, such as sick days, vacation days, and hours worked, to ensure accurate, timely information can be made available to management and employees.
- Assist in performance management procedures.
- Assist the Manager in advising management on legal compliance issues including Employment Standards Act, OH&S Act and Human Rights Code legislation.
- Coordinate the benefits administration including updates and general employee inquiries.
- Manage various recruitment projects for clients and ad-hoc recruitment support for internal team members.
- Provide recruitment support for all clubs and managers by assisting in job postings on all job platforms, pre-screen interviews, interview guides and reference checks including background checks where applicable.
- Creating offer letters and termination letters.
- Update and maintain the new hire documentation, packages and manage the onboarding process.
- Provide assistance and support employees.
- Ensure strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee issues.
- Assist in creating new HR policies and procedures.
- Perform all other HR administrative and recruitment duties as needed.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Working towards CPHR designation is considered an asset.
- Minimum one (1) year of Human Resources administrative experience and experience in high
- volume recruitment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Expert time management, multi-tasking, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize.
- Positive attitude, and approachable with a friendly, self-confident nature.
- Able to handle sensitive information with professionalism and tact.
- Tech savvy with the ability to learn technical systems quickly.
- Social media savvy.
- Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Experience using Skype, Zoom or other video conference technology.
