**Summary**: As the Fundraising Coordinator at ANIDA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's fundraising efforts and contributing to our mission of alleviating multidimensional poverty and promoting sustainable development in underprivileged communities worldwide. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing fundraising activities while providing essential administrative support to the Communications and Development team. Working closely with the Fundraising Committee, you will collaborate on fundraising strategies, cultivate donor relationships, execute direct response campaigns, manage online campaigns, oversee social media initiatives, and coordinate events to engage and expand our supporter base.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Fundraising Committee to strategize and implement effective fundraising initiatives that align with ANIDA's goals and values.
- Manage fundraising events, from planning and execution to post-event follow-ups, to raise funds and increase donor engagement.
- Collect impactful stories of the impact of ANIDA's work from individuals connected to and benefiting from our programs.
- Coordinate social media campaigns to raise awareness about ANIDA's mission, programs, and initiatives.
- Maintain a translation document for commonly used phrases and terminology in campaign materials, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
- Work with the Finance and Administration team to produce queries and reports from Raiser's Edge for each campaign.
- Record stewardship and recognition actions in Raiser's Edge to strengthen donor relationships and show appreciation.
- Manage the online donation page, ensuring seamless donor experiences.
- Update annual stewardship messaging under the guidance of the Executive Director to reinforce ANIDA's commitment to our supporters.
- Ensure compliance with CRA requirements for donation receipts issued by Raiser's Edge.
- Provide support and coordination with the Donor Engagement Specialist, keeping them informed about direct mail campaigns and special initiatives.
- Responsible for time management to meet campaign deadlines and identify and resolve issues related to campaign materials and layouts.

**Knowledge and Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of basic fundraising techniques and strategies, with the ability to establish and manage priorities effectively.
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours to execute donor events and meet the needs of donors, partners, and volunteers.
- Excellent organizational skills, enabling you to work independently and take ownership of campaign timelines and tasks.
- Experience in event planning and execution.

**Education and Experience**:

- Experience working with a fundraising team, including direct mail coordination, is preferred.
- Post-secondary degree or college diploma in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Working towards CFRE certification is an asset.

**Responsibility for Contacts**:

- Collaborate closely with co-workers on the Communications and Development team, fostering coordination and information sharing.
- Collaborate with the Fundraising Committee to strategize and implement effective fundraising initiatives that align with ANIDA's goals and values.
- Interact with donors to address any issues related to donations and troubleshoot challenges.

**Supervision**:

- This position has no direct reports.

**Working Environment and Travel**:

- Work is primarily performed in an office environment.

**Language Requirements**:

- Excellent English language skills (verbal and written) are required, and the ability to communicate in French or other languages is an asset.
