As a Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the organization. Here is how you will do that:
Bookkeeper:

- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts & credit cards.
- Reconciliation of expense reports, bank accounts, and credit card statements monthly.
- Processing of both accounts receivable and accounts payable, including issuing invoices, processing payments, and responding to customer and vendor inquiries.
- Maintenance of all supporting documentation including filing, scanning, and ensuring all documents related to financial activities are accounted for and current.
- Working with staff in other departments to ensure timely and accurate information.
- Assistance in Balance Sheet and Income Statement consolidation (Prepaid, Accruals & Fixed Assets)
- Assist the Finance Manager in maintaining and updating the general ledger while preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Onboarding & off-boarding of employees.

Administration:

- Answer phone calls, return messages.
- Schedule team meetings, arrange meeting space, manage facilities vendors, track subscriptions/assets etc.
- Other responsibilities as requested.

The role requires:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Bookkeeping, Accounting or Finance
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced business.
- Customer service mindset towards both internal teams and external customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Highly efficient and effective at communicating - both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (online) software
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (expert in Excel).
- Strong initiative, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
