TechShare Group Inc. is a small, but growing Salesforce consulting and software development firm located in London, Ontario. We have built a Recreation and Member Management solution on the Salesforce platform called Avocado. We are not a new business, however Avocado is reasonably new on the scene, giving this job a start-up feel with the financial stability of a well-established business.

The Avocado product client-base is rapidly growing and we’re seeking a senior product manager with exceptional organizational skills, great client-management soft-skills, and an entrepreneurial attitude to help support our continued growth. In a perfect world you’ll be a self-starter and quick-learner that can rapidly grasp the Avocado project model, and ensure that our development and implementation teams stay focussed and on track. You’ll possess emotional empathy, being able to put yourself in a client’s shoes and understand what’s important to them and be able to convey that to your team members. You’ll be punctual and disciplined without being too rigid or inflexible. This is a fast-moving environment so it’s critical that you can roll with the punches and adapt as changes happen.

**A Day in the Life on the Avocado Team**

You will have a variety of tasks in any given day as we continue on our mission to get Avocado into every YMCA in North America. You will lead implementation and discovery meetings between new Avocado clients and the Avocado team. You’ll help us continue to standardize our implementation processes to help us create a foundation for growth. You’ll communicate with clients, manage expectations and broker deliverables between client and Avocado teams. You’ll be expected to have some degree of travel in North America, with some trips requiring a flight and a few days away, and others being day-trips by car.

**Tasks Associated with Your Role**

**Project Management & Leadership (60%)**
- Ability to develop, Implement and maintain our product roadmap.
- Business planning process across the cross-functional teams of TechShare.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends and partnerships.
- Act as a primary point of contact with client-side project leadership.
- Lead and execute all project tasks in accordance with the project schedule.
- Maintain and update project schedule.
- Broker clear communication between client and implementation teams.
- Document and distribute project artifact documents such as requirements, specifications, meeting notes etc.
- Influence the client to make clear, quick and concise project decisions.
- Help execute quality assurance tasks for Avocado implementation, configuration and customizations.
- Help maintain the project scope and broker change orders for out of scope requests.
- Understand and educate clients on Avocado project process.
- Produce and distribute weekly project status update documents.
- Track ongoing project risks, action, issues and decisions (R.A.I.D.).
- Ensure meaningful communication amongst all team members.
- Lead daily/weekly SCRUM sessions with internal team members.
- Create and maintain project tasks in project management tool (Asana).
- Maintain routine communications with client-side and Avocado team members to ensure progress aligns with the project schedule.
- Provide routine updates to senior management team.
- Identify issues and drive resolution with senior management team.

**Relationship & Account Management (25%)**
- Provide a friendly, exceptional client experience.
- Listen to client needs and identify opportunities for growth.
- Identify risks to the client experience and communicate them clearly to the senior management team.
- Use Salesforce to log notes, opportunities and relevant details of client relationships.

**Process Establishment and Refinement (15%)**
- Help refine and document current processes.
- Help refine existing, and create new, project documentation templates.
- Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with senior management team on solutions.
- Help establish and manage various digital assets as required.

**Necessary Skill Set**:

- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Docs Suite of tools.
- Extremely well organized.
- Excellent communication skills and business writing skills.
- Ability to learn and grow.
- Tech-savvy and proficient with digital technologies.
- Passionate and empathetic.

**Nice-to-Have Skills**:

- Salesforce experience / certifications.
- PMI certification.
- Social media management experience.
- Web content management experience (Wordpress).
- Professional / technology blogging experience.
- Software product implementation experience.
