Greystone College Vancouver is currently seeking a full-time Program Manager - Tech Programs. Reporting to the Director, Greystone College Programs, the Program Manager - Tech Programs is a Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for supporting instructors within the department. The Program Manager will take on a hybrid role of teaching classes, creating curriculum, and providing administrative support.

**The duties of this position include, but are not limited to**:
Front-End or Full-Stack Instructional Job Duties:

- Deliver engaging and effective instruction that follows the established curriculum in one of the following: Front End Developer or Full-Stack Developer, and schedule in an interactive, student-centered environment
- Prepare daily lesson plans and complete all required preparation before course
- Provide academic assistance in a variety of learning situations.
- Provide detailed feedback to students on their academic performance in a timely manner
- Maintain records for grading and tracking attendance.
- Correspond with students, management and administrative staff as required during the course
- Remain current in the area of professional expertise and teaching methods.
- Participate in curriculum/program reviews and assist in the evaluation of program quality.
- Demonstrate values and principles of professional conduct in all endeavors.
- Attend or lead faculty meetings and training sessions.

**Administrative Duties as Program Manager**:
Manage and coordinate all aspect of the teach programs including:

- Assist with the instructor hiring process, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing support
- Ensure instructors deliver the curriculum using a student-centered, interactive and communicative methodology
- Regularly review student feedback in conjunction with the Director, Greystone College Programs and implement strategies and training to improve upon that feedback and ensure a high Net Promoter Score
- Promote and facilitate continual professional development and growth, and empower and encourage instructors to realize their full potential
- Continually review and improve operational procedures, including innovation from both internal and external sources
- Assist with on-site IT classroom setup and troubleshooting issues such as password resets, computer settings, hardware problems, etc.
- Deal with instructor-related issues and support staff performance, in collaboration with, and as directed by, the Director, Greystone College programs.
- Prepare class placements, including achieving target class averages, ensure that all students have completed all credit requirements in order to graduate
- Review student appeals, grades and success rates regularly, and create systems to improve student support and success rates
- Build rapport with students and establish and maintaining a strong student community.
- Ensure academic delivery and resources meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure instructors’ adherence to institution’s policies and procedures.
- Moodle set up and monitoring such as attendance, placements, setting exam restrictions, etc.

**Duties as Subject Matter expert**:

- Provide knowledge, guidance and expertise in the Greystone Tech Programs areas
- When needed, adapt of develop curriculum for the Tech programs, for in-class delivery or for asynchronous delivery
- Communicate with third-party curriculum design organization to review updates to the curriculum, or to make requests based on the changing landscape of the industry
- Collaborate with third-party curriculum Tech team for trainings, onboard, guest speakers and capstone project reviews.
- Assess the quality of the curriculum and its delivery on a regular basis
- Assist in organizing of department meetings, Program Advisory Committee Meetings and guest speakers.
