**The Role**:
As a Program Manager-IT at CLBC, you will be responsible for managing multi-faceted projects and/or a portfolio of projects with multiple key deliverables. The portfolio of projects are driven from the organizational priorities and government initiatives to support the attainment of business goals, strategic objectives and new directions for service delivery. As the Program Manager, IT, you must drive delivery of assigned projects to ensure timeliness and quality within scope and budget.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and leading complex information management/ technology/ systems/ business programs affecting multiple clients and multiple business program needs utilizing program and project management methodologies to lead, plan, and identify strategies and processes necessary to complete business case analysis, feasibility studies, costs and resources
- Providing leadership and direction to interdisciplinary IT, Business, and Government teams for the management and delivery of CLBC's diverse portfolio using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies
- Engaging executives to define and document the program vision, objectives and expectations for the sustained benefits of the program
- Identifying, understanding and documenting stakeholders needs, motivations, and their expectations of the program
- Engaging in and communicating processes for supporting the continuous improvement of Project Management best practices
- Leading IT program area staff and contracted resources in the development of project specific tasks, and coordinate mitigation strategies to potential issues
- Providing leadership and direction to interdisciplinary Business, IT and Government project teams throughout the project life cycle, from defining project objectives, business specifications and allocating resources through to execution, implementation, training and operational integration
- Developing and maintaining a broad range of stakeholder relationships to achieve project objectives including leading consultation sessions, communication, and change management plans

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in computer science, business administration, or related field (project management, leadership), or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ten or more years of experience managing multiple complex projects or leading a component and managing relationships with all level stakeholders with various degree of technical knowledge
- Demonstrated ongoing professional skills upgrading

Team: Project Management Office
Term/Status: Regular/Full time
Classification/Salary: IS R30: position starts at $88,152 annually, plus a 9.9% market adjustment paid bi-weekly. You will also receive an annual $2,000 retention incentive.
