Reporting to the Head of Department, the Program Manager will be responsible for the Scheduling, logistics and administration of the program and staff. The PM is involved with student issues that may arise in conjunction with the HOD and Ed Admin. In addition, the PM will be familiar with the classroom protocols, equipment and the various physical materials that the Program Assistant is in charge of. The incumbent will be an experienced Administrative Assistant who is highly organized, energetic, and is a positive self-starter who thrives in a continually-evolving and fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills are essential with both staff and students.

**Core Responsibilities**
- The Program Manager must understand and communicate all the Schools’ policies and procedures to staff and students at the program level.
- Planning and coordinating all program scheduling. This includes all internal class and staffing schedules, learning commons, the booking of extra staff (instructors, teaching assistants, models, photographers, etc.), student information sessions, orientation and introductory sessions, graduation ceremonies and facilities.
- Coordinating staff attendance, inputting of payroll into system, vacation and change of information of current faculty and employees.
- Maintaining daily communication with students and faculty, as required in the areas of course scheduling, upcoming events, class meetings, attendance/warning meetings (and disciplinary issues in concert with the HOD).
- Departmental supervision of faculty regarding submittal and tracking of course instructors’ information such as attendance sheets for students, grades and course evaluations.
- Management during each term (on Moodle and server) of all academic records; grade sheets, exams and quizzes. Keep these materials current in conjunction with the instructors, Teaching Assistants and HOD. Student Learning Materials are mostly electronically formatted and accessed by students and staff from the server and Moodle.
- Working with the Educational Administration and Student Services departments in order to facilitate the dissemination and maintenance of all student handbook updates, student records such as grades and attendance, and to present outside employment opportunities to students and Alumni, as they may become available.
- Assisting in the development, creation, and distribution of student learning materials such as various (educational) media formats including photos, DVDs, videos, signage and paper copy to be done in concert with the HOD, as they direct.
- Liaising with the Marketing & Admissions departments to coordinate all special event and tradeshow preparations.
- Liaising and coordinating with the Operations department with regards to building maintenance as it pertains to all MKD campuses; entering Ops Job requests for repairs and general issues.
- Other duties, as assigned by the Head of Department.

**Skills, Experience, and Education**
- Degree and or diploma in either of the following discipline: Film, Theatre, or Business Administration is an asset
- Minimum of two years of office experience.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated organizational, supervisory, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of makeup artistry and makeup products would be an asset.
- Experience with both PC and MAC platforms and operating systems.
- Proficiency with word processing, presentation and spreadsheet programs, E-mail, Internet usage i.e., MS Office, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
- Demonstrated good judgment and initiative with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Highly organized team player with a flexible approach and works well under pressure.
- Ability to present a professional and positive image and maintain discretion and confidentiality.

**NOTE: This position does require light physical duties of occasional lifting, packing and organizing of make-up kits and supplies.**

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
