Accounting Administrator Part-time

Red Deer County, Canada Fire & Flood Emergency Services Ltd. Full time

We are looking to add a part-time flexible position for our accounts payable department. For the first few months there will be opportunity to work more than 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm.

**Duties**:

- Assist in recording of invoices for accounts payable in a timely manner
- Ensure company policies and procedures for all aspects of financial compliance are followed.
- Updating vendor accounts appropriately.
- Reconcile supplier statements monthly.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Multitask on multiple company files ensuring accuracy.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Performing other bookkeeping and administrative duties as requested.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years bookkeeping and/or accounting experience in Canada
- Minimum 2 years experience using Sage 50 Canada
- Proficiency in using Microsoft platforms including excel, word, outlook and sharepoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
