**Job Description**:
MEDFAR is looking for an eager and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. If you are seeking an opportunity in a growing company with a clear outlook on advancement, then this position is for you.

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be working as part of the Finance Team within a fast-paced, fun and creative environment. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will primarily enforce and manage the accounts payable cycle as well participate in the collection procedures of MEDFAR. Furthermore, you will participate in the implementation of new cycle processes and help support special projects in relation to the potential acquisition of new entities to align with MEDFAR’s fast growth.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the accounts payable process in full.
- Manage vendor payments on a timely basis and coordinate the cash flow management in accordance with our objectives
- Manage transactional input into the accounting software with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage bank and credit card reconciliations on a timely basis.
- Support the Corporate Controller in day-to-day operations and additionally requested tasks such as month-end analysis.
- Continuously look for opportunities to increase data accuracy.
- Manage and maintain continuity schedules such as prepayments and accruals.
- Help support the corporate audit requirements.
- Assist the team with other related projects.

**Qualifications**:
Contribute to our team with your strengths:

- Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Administration, or an equivalent.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in a Bookkeeping or equivalent role.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken (French and English).
- Quality-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Team player; organized and structured individual.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
