The position resides in the Strategic Planning, Reporting & Engagement unit in the Strategic Services Division within the Ministry of Children and Family Development Deputy Minister’s Office. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Planning, Reporting & Engagement, this role involves supporting the development, coordination, tracking of engagement and planning activities. The Project Planning & Engagement Coordinator provides technical project management support for engagement activities across the ministry and works closely with the senior manager.

Strong technical, people, and coordination skills along with a solid understanding a project management is essential for success in this role. The position requires an enthusiastic, flexible professional capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. A commitment to customer service and the ability to foster respectful and professional relationships with ministry and government leaders and team members is required.

**Job Requirements**:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, humanities, social sciences, public administration, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experienced may be considered.
- Minimum 6 months experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Experience working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the Social Services sector.
- Experience providing project management and coordination services for assigned projects.
- Experience in writing a variety of documents, i.e., briefing materials/reports/communications.
