Reporting to the Manager, IT Services Delivery, this position leads and supports the promotion, development, planning, implementing and testing of branch Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to ensure business priority and mission critical services and processes continue to function, or are returned to service as quickly as possible, in the event of a significant business disruption. Ensures branch BCP compliance per BC Government Core Policy and Emergency Management BC (EMBC).

This position also Coordinates and maintains other related branch administrative programs, including the Fire Warden Program, Ergonomics Program and First Aid Program.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year related work experience in the field of organizational business continuity including:

- Facilitating groups to consensus
- Developing and delivering adult training
- Designing and delivering business continuity/emergency management exercises
- Experience using current versions of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Proven success in initiating, building and maintaining effective working relations with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proven success managing multiple projects and sensitive assignments with firm deadlines.

**Preferences**:

- Preference may be given to those who have a formalized training in business continuity disciplines.
- Preference may be given to those who hold, or are willing to obtain an Occupational First Aid Level-2 certificate and act as the site first aid attendant
