The role of the Program Coordinator is to provide technical project management coordination functions for a variety of large-scale complex projects throughout the project management life cycle (i.e., initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out). In addition, is directly accountable for assigned portions (e.g., sub projects) of larger projects as a project team member.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma in project management or a related field and 1-year related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework in project management or a related field and 2 years related experience; OR
- Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 3 years related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Related experience includes the following**:

- Experience providing project management coordination and support.
- Experience using project management software, systems, and methodology.
- Experience tracking projects throughout the project life cycle and making recommendations to project leaders on revisions.

**Preference may be given to applicants with**:

- Experience with MCFD applicants (ICM, CSAS, CDW, etc)
- Experience working with Indigenous populations
- Experience with business improvement processes
- Experience with measurement reports
- Experience with budget management
- Experience in the Social Services sector.
- At least 6 months experience in a Project Coordinator role.

**Willingness Statement**:

- Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License or an equivalent class driver's license from another province or jurisdiction.
