**Description**:
WHO YOU ARE:
This role will report into the Human Resources Manager and will provide HR Support to the Stores and Distribution Centre in the assigned region(s). The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Collaborate with Directors at Stores, Head Office and the Distribution Center to resolve employee relations concerns, including performance management, disciplinary action (including terminations) and workplace investigations in alignment with legislative requirements.
- Provide support to employees and management with respect to HR matters
- Provide guidance regarding HR policies and procedures, performance management, employee relations, benefits and employment legislation
- Oversee workplace accident and disability claims and provide guidance on health and safety compliance requirements.
- Identify staffing challenges at stores and provide recommendations on proactive recruitment actions.
- Support and develop HR projects as per the business needs.
- Perform other duties, as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a related role.
- Knowledge of Canadian Labour Laws
- Excellent technical abilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- A clear sense of urgency to achieve results.
- Keen sense of time management and flexibility
- A team player who builds strong relationships based on trust and integrity
- Excellent customer support, collaboration, time management, organization skills, diplomacy and attention to details;
- English and French, spoken and written
- Experience in Retail an asset
