**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Receive, print, and file electronic drawings into proper file locations on RKO software and RKO server. Can include drawing distribution via one drive, drop box, FTP sites.
- Provide and document blueprints to estimating, engineering, operations and construction/survey teams.
- Manage document control, fabrication operations with Powerfab Fabrication Software, including imports, data manipulation and organization. This will include but is not limited to shipping bills, RFI’s, material test report scans, QA fabrication drawings.
- Write up and maintain issue slips and file electronically. This includes shop issues, construction drawing issue, approval issues, for both internal and external clients.
- Provide assistance/back-up to operations staff including, but not limited to, filing of fabrication drawings (hard copy or electronic), scanning, and data entry to assist the operations team.
- Maintain master list of all drawings, their location (i.e. storage or in-house) and whether or not they are scanned.
- Maintain storage space for drawings, and container for drafting files/RKO contracts. This would include updating of job boxes and associated document storage for all documents related to RKO in conjunction with RKO procedures.
- Download, print and/or file electronic copies of drawings for estimating, engineering, operations and construction/survey teams.
- When required, greet people and customers into the facility.
- Point of contact for maintenance calls for large and small format printers to outsource companies and purchasing.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Graduation from recognized college - business administration, document management, construction management, or similar proven experience in the field.
- Knowledge/experience in the steel industry is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with PDF editing software (Bluebeam or Adobe) and Powerfab (or Strumis or Fabtrol) are considered assets for the position.
- Experience with record keeping and filing systems, both electronic & manual.
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
- Knowledge of large format printer and ability to work with outsource maintenance staff to maintain the machine.
- Attention to detail to a high degree and working within in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Effective internal and external communication skills to resolve questions tactfully and to meet customer service expectations.
- Ability to collect and organize information.
- Strong written and verbal communication to work with estimating, engineering, operations and construction/project management staff.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast environment.
