Vancouver Film and TV Tours is expanding to Toronto We are looking for local actors to work as a tour guide for a new tour that is launching this April in Downtown Toronto. The tour will take place 4 days per week (depending on bookings) and will last approximately 2.5-3 hours each. The guide will take guests around on foot through downtown Toronto, visiting popular filming locations of movies and tv shows. They will show clips and stills from the projects on a tablet and educate the public on the film industry in Toronto as well as be a local experts of the city.

**Tasks**:

- Arrive early with all equipment to meet and locate guests at the meeting point before each tour
- Be available for the tours each week (be on call for last minute bookings, potentially help with hiring additional staff)
- Take guests and visit each pre-determined stop and watch the clips and add commentary and share your passion of the shows/movies
- Discuss film industry in Toronto and Canada with passion and interest
- Offer commentary on the areas you walk through as a Toronto local such as some history and recommendations for activities
- Entertain the guests, make sure they are having fun and are all accommodated for - Lead a few interactive activities on the tour for the guests
- Cater each tour to the guests specific needs and interests. - Lead guests back to the original meeting point on time.
- Share your own stories and experiences working in the film industry

Guide Traits:

- An working/studying actor or has worked in the film industry in some capacity (**THIS IS REQUIRED)
- Passionate and Knowledgable
- Reliable, Good Communicator
- Tech Savvy
- Confident, friendly and fun
- Flexible schedule
- Previous performing or tour guiding experience is an asset.

Pay:
$80/2.5 hour tour plus tips (Tuesdays. Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
