We are currently hiring for the position of:
**COORDINATOR, INDUSTRY EVENT SALES**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Industry Sales + Services, the Coordinator of Industry Event Sales is accountable for maintenance and fostering of relationships with film organizations looking to eventize their promotional strategies at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. This promotion consists of, but is not limited to, networking, cocktails, parties and partner led conference programming.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Shall include but not be limited to:
- Draft pitches and proposals for various event sales activation opportunities in relation to event prospects and partner led programming initiatives- Coordinate contractual negotiations with national agencies, film studios, film commissions, and trade publications.- Support the sale of event spaces and activations across all industry locations, including Rooftop, Talent hub, Conference Centre and TIFF Bell Lightbox- Coordinate a portfolio of event based accounts and ensure all terms of agreements are fulfilled with the highest level of service- Coordinate with internal production teams to deliver partner led programming including database entry, scheduling as well as content and materials collection.- Create and distribute welcome packages inclusive of specifications, deadlines and details on included services.- Track revenue and financial impact of sales to date in collaboration with Senior Manager- Attend weekly team meetings and contribute as needed in regards to individual tasks/portfolio- Provide a detailed post mortem

**RATE OF PAY**:
- $22.00 /Hourly

**WORK LOCATION**:
- Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5- Weekly in office requirements:
- Minimum 2 days (November to May)-
- Minimum 3 days (June to October)-
- Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival

**TARGET**

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 1 years experience managing staff and delegating responsibilities- Minimum of 2 years experience working with customer relations management systems both on-line and off-line- Minimum of 2 years experience negotiating sales contracts- Knowledge of domestic and international distribution, sales activities, national promotional agency networks, funding practices, co-productions and international film festivals and markets- Experience dealing with domestic and international clientele- Minimum of 2 years’ experience dealing directly with vendor and supplier relationship
