**Organization Description**Women in Film & Television - Toronto (WIFT Toronto)**

Founded in 1984, Women in Film & Television - Toronto (WIFT Toronto) is a member-based, not-for-profit professional organization that supports women+ in screen-based media-film, television and digital media-to build, advance and sustain their careers nationally and internationally. Our mission is to enhance the skills of our members so they can become significant decision-makers at all levels of the industry. This is achieved by providing access to high quality programming, mentoring, networking and industry events that recognize the talents and potential of women+.

WIFT Toronto is dedicated to creating a community that is equitable, inclusive, and accessible. Membership is available to everyone, regardless of gender expression.

**Requirements**:Key Responsibilities**

**Social Media**

Create a Social Media plan for the year

Create graphics using Canva Pro for social media and promotional materials including various campaigns and advertisements

Create an accessibility plan and ensure WIFT Toronto social media and website are accessible to all

Work with community partners/sponsors/ and members to share news on our various channels

Regular analytics reporting; with plans and steps for improvement

Create and execute an in-depth social media plan for increased engagement with daily postings

Attends WIFT Toronto events (Member events, WIFT Showcase, AGM, reception during the Toronto International Film Festival, Crystal Awards Gala) and provide onsite support

**Communications**

Coordinate, write and send our bi-monthly Newsletter

Prepare press releases for announcements; both on our website and in publications

Write content for various campaigns

Aid in any and all communications around WIFT Toronto programming, membership, events, fundraising, and news including the WIFT Toronto website

Aid in the creation of our yearly reports

**Other**

Minimum of three years' work experience within the social media and communications spheres

Post-secondary degree in communications, arts administration, event management, film studies or related field

Experience or knowledge of working with Mailchimp, Canva Pro, Adobe, updating websites, all social media channels

Excellent time-management, multi-tasking and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office, on a PC platform

Must be able to work occasional evenings and early mornings

Additional Info**:Additional Assets**

Knowledge of and experience in the Canadian screen-based industry

Experience working in a non-profit organization

**Experience With Eventbrite, Membership Works (or Another Similar CRM)**

Strong ability to prioritize
